Gabler, Sankey Vote to Advance Key State Budget

HARRISBURG – With support from both sides of the aisle, the state House today approved House Bill 790, the General Appropriations portion of the state budget package. The vote of 140-62 advances the legislation to the state Senate for consideration.

House Passes Gabler Legislation to Support Local Coal Jobs, Cut Red Tape

HARRISBURG – Coal remains an important part of Pennsylvania’s economy, supporting nearly 18,000 jobs and contributing $4 billion annually. The state House has unanimously passed legislation authored by Rep. Matt Gabler (R-Clearfield/Elk) to protect these jobs, especially during periods of economic downturn.
